CAMBODIAN CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR

The Cambodian Cultural Village Tour starts with two museums. Well-known persons of Cambodia is exhibited in the wax museums while famous historical buildings and structures of the country are presented by their miniatures. Then proceed to stroll around the village to witness skilled carvers carving in stones, woods, and even in silver. The tour also includes a Traditional Dance Show of Cambodia known as Aspara dancing. Kulen Mountain is a signficant mountain in Cambodia. Besides being a holy mountain for Hindus and Buddhists during pilgrimage, it is also the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. This is where King Jayavarman II announced independence from Java. Although the topic is still in debate, Kulen Mountain then played an important role in Cambodian history as the location for where a unified and independent Cambodia under a single ruler was proclaimed.
